Choc Hazelnut Protein Waffles
Breakfast & Dessert
1 cup organic self-raising flour (choose gluten free if required)
1/4 cup cacao powder
3 tbsp Amazonia Raw Protein Collagen Plus Choc Hazelnut
1 cup oat milk
2 eggs, beaten (or vegan egg alternative)
2-3 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla essence
Preheat waffle iron for 5-10 minutes.
Combine all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl, mix well.
In a separate bowl, add oat milk, whisked eggs, maple syrup and vanilla. Mix to combine.
Slowly add ‘wet’ingredients to the dry and mix through.
Once the waffle iron has heated, spoon approx. 1/4 cup of the mixture per waffle, close lid and leave to cook for 4-5 minutes.
Serve with melted chocolate, crushed hazelnuts, coconut yoghurt and/or fresh berries.
