Fresh out of the Healthy Luxe kitchen, here's a classic protein rich pancake stack with a delicious vanilla cinnamon flavour thanks to our Raw Protein Slim & Tone in (you guessed it) Vanilla Cinnamon. It tastes naughty but it's seriously good for you – and the addition of our protein will keep you satisfied for hours.
This sprouted and fermented protein blend contains thermogenic herbs, 74 trace minerals, essential amino acids, greens, Iron, Phosphorous, Zinc and more. It's low-carb and it'll help boost your metabolism, reduce cravings and support detoxification pathways in the body.
These pancakes are made using egg, but if you're vegan you can sub this for a chia egg – which sounds strange, but it's super simple. Just mis 1 tbsp chia seeds and 2.5 tbsp water and voila – a chia egg! Leave it to soak for a few minutes so it reaches that thick eggy consistency. Classic Vanilla Protein Pancakes

¼ cup of buckwheat flour
¼ cup almond meal (or oatmeal to make nut free)
1-2 tbsp Raw Protein Slim & Tone Vanilla Cinnamon
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla bean powder
2 organic eggs, separated (or chia eggs)
1 ripe banana
½ cup coconut milk
1 tbsp maple syrup or coconut nectar (optional)
¼ tsp Himalayan salt
Combine dry ingredients in a mixing bowl, mix well.
Add remaining ingredients (except egg whites) to a blender, blend until smooth.
Add to dry mixture, mixing well. Beat egg whites until firm peaks form and then gently fold into the pancake mixture.
Place coconut oil in a non-stock pan and allow to melt over low- medium heat.
Add a small amount of the pancake mixture and leave to cook for 1-2 minutes or until bubbles start to form).
Flip and allow the other side to cook for about another minute or so.
Repeat this process for the rest of the mixture.
Stack pancakes and serve with your choice of toppings.
