Oats are a great source of fibre, magnesium, zinc, thiamine, and phosphorous. The primary type of soluble fibre in oats is beta-glucan, which has been shown to help slow digestion, increase satiety, and suppress appetite. Beta-glucan can even bind with cholesterol-rich bile acids in the intestine and transport them through the digestive tract and eventually out of the body.

Chocolate Protein Oats
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring regularly for approximately 5 minutes. Add additional coconut water or milk if required.
Spoon into a bowl and top with additional banana, vegan chocolate and/ or cacao nibs (optional)
