Perfect for breakfast or an after-dinner treat, this indulgent yet healthy smoothie tastes just like a peanut butter cup!
We’ve used frozen banana for natural sweetness and coconut milk for a good dose of manganese, iron, magnesium, copper and MCTs (also known as medium-chain triglycerides).
MCTs go from the digestive tract directly to your liver, where they’re used for energy or ketone production – so they're less likely to be stored as fat. Research also suggests that MCTs may help reduce appetite and decrease calorie intake compared to other fats.
And of course there's the star of the show: peanut butter – packed full of protein, fibre and monounsaturated fats. Finally, we threw in a spoonful of cacao for antioxidants and a rich chocolate flavour, plus a serve of our Raw Protein Isolate in Choc Coconut.
This provides 21.5g of certified organic, sprouted and fermented plant protein and a complete amino acid profile to support muscle repair and growth. Simply blend and enjoy!
