Soft, gooey cookies packed with plant protein, fibre, healthy fats and a hint of dark chocolate – what more could you want for breakfast!? Quick and easy recipes are our favourite. This one only containing 5 ingredients and takes less than 20 minutes to prepare!
First, preheat your oven. Then combine your oats, mashed ripe banana, peanut butter, and protein powder in a bowl. This recipe uses our Raw Protein Paleo Fermented in Salted Caramel flavour, which adds not only a delicious flavour but also a huge hit of protein, vitamins and minerals. It contains organic sprouted and fermented pea protein and cultured superfoods such as spirulina, spinach, quinoa and seeds to promote gentle digestion. Each serve provides 22g of plant protein and is rich in Iron, Phosphorous and Zinc.
The last step in this recipe is to mix through your dark chocolate chips (or you could also use cacao nibs or chopped up dates), shape into small cookies and arrange on a lined baking tray. Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until they’re golden – and enjoy! 5-Ingredient Breakfast Cookies
Breakfast & Snacks
1 cup quick oats
1 large ripe banana, mashed
1/4 cup smooth peanut butter
1 heaped tbsp Raw Protein Paleo Fermented Salted Caramel
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 190 Degrees C.
Combine oats, mashed banana, peanut butter and protein in a mixing bowl, mix well.
Stir through the chocolate chips.
Shape into small cookies and arrange on a lined baking tray.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden.
