Baked Chocolate Easter Egg Oats

Here at Amazonia, we love Easter. Why? Because it’s acceptable to eat chocolate for breakfast!

These decadent and indulgent Baked Chocolate Easter Egg Oats are the perfect way to start your day. They’ve got the Easter Bunny’s tick of approval. Baked oats are all the rage right now, especially as we come into the cooler months. Loaded with healthy fibre to keep you full until lunch, they’re also incredibly quick and easy to make!

Rather than using boring old cacao powder to create a nice chocolate flavour, Healthy Luxe has chosen our Spiced Cacao powder instead! It’s a warm and invigorating blend of organic cacao powder with the anti-inflammatory Ayurvedic spices; Cinnamon, Turmeric and Ginger. With a rich dark chocolate taste, cacao is an excellent source of Iron and Magnesium and contains more than 27 times the antioxidants of blueberries. Our Spiced Cacao is vegan, gluten-free and contains no added sugar.

Simply combine oats, baking powder, sea salt and our Spiced Cacao in a bowl. You could even add a tablespoon of Raw Protein to your oats for an extra protein hit. Then, add your mashed banana, honey or maple syrup, and oat milk and stir to combine. Transfer to a ramekin dish and (this is the best part) push 1-2 of your favourite small solid easter eggs into the centre of the bowl.
